About Us
The Mann Sisters, Lauren and Alexandra, are teenaged twin singer-songwriters from Miami, Florida whose music is timeless and mature beyond their age.Their self-titled debut EP, The Mann Sisters, is deeply rooted in American rock and country music with four songs written by the sisters. Produced by Fernando Perdomo (Andy Pratt, Jorge Moreno, Dreaming in Stereo), both Lauren and Alexandra played every guitar and keyboard on the
EP and were accompanied by the rhythm section of Perdomo on bass and drummer Derek Cintron (Mika, Scott Stapp, Enrique Iglesias). The Mann Sisters have been performing all over the country with acclaimed performances at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale, The Listening Room in Nashville, The Miami Music Festival and Puckett’s in Nashville. They were also the headlining act at the City of Homestead’s 2011 4th of July celebration at The Homestead-Miami Speedway. Their first single, “Breathe Slow” has achieved regular airplay on country and rock radio in the Florida Keys with heavy airplay on WCTH Thunder Country and WFKZ Sun. The song was also featured on the nationally acclaimed adult album alternative radio compilation “A Taste of Triple A – #73. They have also recently been endorsed by the premier acoustic pickup company K&K Sound as well as being awarded the DisCovery Award by Nashville’s and Music Row’s most respected music critic, author and historian, Robert Oermann. The future is looking bright for the girls as they continue to write and develop their craft. They divide their time between Miami and Nashville where they perform regularly, all a part of propelling their journey to the top of the charts and beyond.
